(UNDATED) – Authorities arrested a suspect for stealing vehicles, along with other charges.

St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says his department received a call from an individual in the 61,000 block of Klinger Lake Road, who discovered his car being stolen just before 1 AM and followed the suspect.

Deputies located and apprehended the suspect, a 24 year old Georgia man. During their investigation, officers discovered the suspect had stolen another vehicle from Centreville and crashed it in the 61,000 block of Klinger Lake Road.

The suspect is being held on two counts of unauthorized driving away of an automobile; possession of a stolen motor vehicle; operating under the influence of drugs; driving with no license and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
