(UNDATED) - The Michigan Department of Transportation will be hosting an open house to discuss a resurfacing project on U.S. 12 in Bronson.
The plan is to do the project in 2027. The resurfacing would be on U.S. 12 from Albers Road to Wayne Street, and would convert the four lane highway to three lanes with a dedicated left-turn lane.
The project would also include chip and fog sealing, and implementing traffic calming measures to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
MDOT says the project should take about four weeks to be complete.
The open house will take place from 4 PM until 7 PM on Tuesday, September 22 at Bronson City Hall, 141 South Matteson Street.
