TR boys track team first at Wolverine Conference Championship

(THREE RIVERS) – The host Three Rivers boys track team came in first at the Wolverine Conference Championship. Lamonta Stone was first in the 100 meters and was part of the winning 400 meter relay and 800 meter relay teams. Blake Stewart was first in the long jump and second in the 200 meters, along with being part of the first place 400 meter relay and 800 meter relay team. David Wills was first in the high jump while Carter Rice finished second in the 110 meter hurdles. Sullivan Zietlow was third in the 1600 meters and fourth in the 800 meters and the 3200 meter relay team finished first. Jason Muckel was named the Wolverine Conference Boys Track Coach Of The Year. Stone was named the meet’s Most Valuable Athlete.
