Bronson baseball splits DH with Concord

(BRONSON) – Bronson hosted Concord in a Big 8 baseball double header and split the games, with Bronson winning 7-0 in game one and then losing 11-10 in the second game. In the first game, Carson Stevens got the pitching win, throwing an eight hit shutout with 5 strikeouts. Owen Kimmons had a 2 for 3 game and 2 RBI. He also drove in 2 runs in the second game. Bronson was leading in game two when Concord scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie things up and then take the lead with a five run rally. Bronson is now 16-9-1 overall and 10-3 in the Big 8.
