INDIANAPOLIS – Unemployment rates in northeast Indiana remained stable during May.

LaGrange and Steuben Counties were at 2.4 percent – the same as April.

Noble County fell from 2.7 to 2.6 percent. DeKalb County went up from 2.4 to 2.5%.

Elkhart County was unchanged at 2.6%.

All were well below the statewide and national average of 3.6%.
