STEUBEN COUNTY - Judge Allen Wheat & Judge William Fee are pleased to announce the hiring of Jim Burns as the new Magistrate serving in the Steuben Circuit and Superior Courts.

Burns comes to serve the county after a distinguished local law practice of 35 years. He was also Judge of the former Steuben County Court from 1981 to 1984.  

While the excellent service of Magistrate Coffey will be missed, they look forward to Jim's arrival on January 2, 2021. They expect no significant change in the change in the operation of the Magistrate's office.
