White Pigeon Superintendent Comments Following Failed Bond Proposal

(WHITE PIGEON) – White Pigeon Schools Superintendent Shelly McBride has commented following the failed bond proposal on Tuesday.
In a release posted on the White Pigeon School’s Facebook page, McBride expressed the District’s sincere gratitude to the citizens for their support and participation in the recent bond vote. McBride says while the outcome may not have been what the Schools hoped for, the engagement and commitment from the community was truly appreciated.
McBride says the community’s support means so much to White Pigeon Schools, and especially for the students. She says the schools will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that White Pigeon students have the best possible learning environment, despite the challenges the schools face.
McBride says they look forward to continuing to serve the community and their students as they plan their next steps to ensure White Pigeon Community Schools are moving forward in a positive direction.
