(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission is well pleased with the job City Manager Andrew Kuk is doing.

During last week’s meeting, the Commission unanimously approved Kuk’s annual evaluation and the City Manager Addendum. Vice Mayor Aaron Miller offered comments to Kuk. ...... {LISTEN}.

With the approval of the addendum, Kuk’s salary will be $132,612, retroactive to April 13. That is an increase from where it was in March, which was $128,750. Mayor Frank Perez says that increase was more than Kuk wanted. ...... {LISTEN}.

Perez also reminded the Commission that Kuk’s annual evaluation will now be switched to October of each year. That will give all of the Commissioners, especially those who may join at the beginning of the year, almost a full year of working with Kuk to give him a complete evaluation.
