(BUTLER) - Four people were injured Wednesday night in a two vehicle collision near Butler. The DeKalb County Sheriffs Department reports a 2001 Pontiac Montana driven by 41-year-old Jennifer Joker of Fort Wayne failed to stop at the posted stop sign at the intersection of County Roads 61 and 16 just after 8:00pm and crashed into a 2007 Buick Lucerne driven by 56-year-old Terry Rickman of Pleasant Lake. All occupants of the vehicles were believed to be wearing seat belts. All four injured persons were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center. Joker suffered severe chest bruising and a laceration to her leg. Two passengers from Fort Wayne in Joker's vehicle were injured. 18-year-old Shanice Phinezy complained of pain while four-year-old Mishon Kelsaw suffered a laceration to the forehead. Rickman was not injured but a passenger, 67-year-old Betty Rickman of Pleasant Lake, suffered a fractured right ankle. The Sheriffs Department was assisted by Butler Police and Fire and DeKalb County E.M.S..
