(JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash in Cass County’s Jefferson Township injured two people.

Sheriff Clint Roach says at 4:20 AM on Thursday, deputies were called out to a vehicle crash. They determined that 58 year old Melissa Finley of Edwardsburg was driving south on Dailey Road, and turned east onto Pine Lake Road, striking a northbound vehicle driven by 27 year old Jenna Wilson of Cassopolis.

Wilson was taken by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. Finley was treated at the scene and released.

It’s unknown if all parties were wearing their seat belts.

Assisting Deputies were the Edwardsburg Ontwa Police Department, the Edwardsburg Fire Department and Ambulance and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
