(UNDATED) – Several area student-athletes were named to the Division 3 All State boys basketball teams for 2023-2024 by the Michigan Associated Press. Selected First Team All State are Shane Rykse of Schoolcraft; Jaremiah Palmer of Niles Brandywine; and Mekhi Wingfield of Concord. Named Second Team All State are Matthew Swanwick of Centreville; and Jack Bowers of Hillsdale. Honorable Mention All State goes out to Jacob Pleyer of Watervliet. The Division 3 Player Of The Year is Zander Woodruff of Laingsburg and the Coach Of The Year is Nathan Knapp of Niles Brandywine.
