Sturgis tops Jackson in District Volleyball Semifinals

(STURGIS) – Down two games to nothing, the host Sturgis volleyball team stormed back to beat Jackson 3-2 (15-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-6) in their Division 1 District semifinal match. Angela Cary had 11 kills and 4 digs while Cora Phillips added 7 kills and 19 assists. Keyanna O’Tey had 7 kills and 4 digs. Sturgis is now 6-22-1 and will take on Coldwater in the District Finals, starting at 6:30 PM.
