Hoffmaster Re-elected County Commission Chairman

(CENTREVILLE) - Jared Hoffmaster has been re-elected to serve as Chairman of the St. Joseph County Commission in 2026.

During their organizational meeting Tuesday, the Commissioners voted 4-3 to have Hoffmaster serve a second consecutive term as Chairman. Hoffmaster is the First District Commissioner, serving Flowerfield Township, part of Fabius Township and part of the City of Three Rivers.

The Commission also voted to have Luis Rosado serve as the Vice Chairman for 2026. Rosado serves as the Fourth District Commissioner, which is made up of Constantine, White Pigeon and Mottville Townships.

The County Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month in Executive Session. Those meetings start at 4 PM in the third floor conference room of the Historic Courthouse.

The Commission's Regular meetings are the third Tuesday of every month in the Commission Room on the third floor of the Historic Courthouse.
