(CONSTANTINE) - A boil water advisory has been issued for the Village of Constantine.
Village Manager Mark Honeysett says the advisory is being issued after a water main break happened near Constantine High School Friday afternoon. The break has been repaired but until further notice, residents are advised to use bottled water, or to boil their tap water before drinking it or using it for cooking.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy has been informed and Honeysett says residents will be informed when the water has been deemed safe for consumption.
