(LAGRANGE) - As of Tuesday afternoon, LaGrange County is back to a Watch or Orange travel status.

According to LaGrange County Emergency Management Director Bill Morr, a "Watch" status means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public.

During a "Watch" travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended. Additionally, emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.

Morr asks if you are able to, please stay off the roads for your safety as well as others. If you must be out, please plan accordingly by making sure your gas tank is full, having a windshield scraper, jumper cables, a small shovel, flashlight, cell phone, blanket and additional warm clothing. Also let someone know your route of travel.
