Bronson Inducts Five New Members Into Hall Of Fame

(BRONSON) - It was a special Friday night as five new members were inducted into the Bronson Hall Of Fame.

Leroy Dow is a life-long resident of Bronson, and a graduate of Bronson High School in 1958. He dedicated 38 years of service to Bronson Community Schools as a custodian. He earned the respect and appreciation of students, staff and the entire school community.

Greg Gruner graduated with the Bronson High School Class of 1970. He was a multi-sport athlete, playing four years of baseball and three years of varsity football and was named All Conference. After coaching for 20 years at Quincy High School, Gruner spent ten years coaching girls basketball at Bronson. His teams won four District Championships, two Regional titles and advanced to the Final Four in1992 and 1996.

T.J. Hathaway is a 1989 graduate from Bronson High School and earned four varsity letters each in football and basketball and competed three years in track. He then attended and played basketball at Kalamazoo Valley Community College before earning a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. Currently Hathaway owns and operates Hathaway Farms along with his wife.

Annie McGuire graduated from Bronson High School in 2008. During her four years in school she earned 12 varsity letters in volleyball, basketball and track. McGuire also scored 1,118 career points in basketball. Her greatest passion had been social work, and she serves as a social worker with the Branch Intermediate School District. She is also the varsity girls basketball coach for Bronson.

David Severn is a 2010 Bronson High School graduate. He participated in football and wrestling, where he won District, Regional and State Championships in 2009 and 2010 at 215 pounds, and going undefeated in both seasons. After graduating, Severan traveled with his father teaching amateur wrestling and MMA clinics. He also served 6 years in the Army National Guard.
