(BURR OAK TOWNSHIP) - Authorities say that a call for one possible crime led to the arrest of a man on multiple charges.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office was called Wednesday to the 400 block of Burr Oak Road in Burr Oak Township for a report of a felony assault.
During their investigation, deputies discovered that a 20 year old male fugitive was at the residence. Further investigation revealed the suspect was in possession of multiple firearms, one of them had previously been reported stolen.
The man was taken into custody and is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
