(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana Governor Mike Braun says the State may need to take another look at marijuana legalization.

Recently, Braun said he is "agnostic" on medical marijuana, but with neighboring states allowing some form of legal cannabis, the issue may need to be addressed.

Marijuana remains illegal in Indiana, despite multiple attempts to legalize it in recent years.

Michigan, Illinois and Ohio all allow recreational and medical marijuana use, while Kentucky only allows medical marijuana.

A survey conducted by Ball State University shows that over 60% of Indiana residents support full legalization of marijuana, with another 25% in favor of medical use only.

Indiana lawmakers are expected to revisit the topic during a future legislative session.
