(ELKHART) - A shooting incident has injured a teenager.
The Elkhart Police Department says they received several calls late Wednesday night of shots fired on Portage Lane. Officers arrived and found a 17 year old girl who had been shot.
The girl was taken to an area hospital and treated for non life threatening wounds.
No arrests have been made and the matter is still being investigated.
