(STURGIS) - Two Sturgis residents have been arrested on drug charges.
Southwest Enforcement Team detectives executed a search warrant Wednesday at a home in the 300 block of St. Joseph Street in Sturgis.
During the search approximately four ounces of crystal meth and other evidence of meth use and distribution were seized.
A 46 year old woman and a 60 year old man were arrested and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on multiple drug charges including possession with intent to deliver meth and maintaining a drug house.
Assisting SWET detectives with the search were the Sturgis Department of Public Safety, the St. Joseph Valley Special Response Team and the Michigan State Police.
