Centreville boys and girls first at Comstock Invitational

(COMSTOCK) - The Centreville girls and boys track teams both finished in first place at the Comstock Invitational. In the girls portion of the event, Kaylyn Coney was first in the 400 meters and second in the 200 meters, along with being part of the winning 400 meter relay team. Ellie Reed was first in the 1600 meters, second in the 800 meters and also part of the winning 1600 meter relay and 3200 meter relay teams. Leah Roberts won the shot put and was on the winning 400 meter relay team. Berkley Shingledecker was first in the 800 meters along with being part of the winning 1600 meter relay and the 3200 meter relay teams. For the boys, Will Hulin won the 1600 meters, the 3200 meters and was part of the winning 3200 meter relay team. Deandre Stout won the 200 meters, finished second in the 100 meters and was on the winning 1600 meter relay team. Matthew Bates won the shot put and was second in the discus. Brayden Swanwick took first in the high jump and was on the winning 1600 meter relay team.
