Tibbits Kids Theatre Workshop

Tibbits Opera House is bringing back their popular Kids Theatre Workshop June 21st - 26th, with a showcase event on Saturday, June 27th! Designed for young actors and theatre enthusiasts, whether they prefer to be on stage of off, this engaging workshop offers a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of theatre under the guidance of seasoned professionals. The acting session allows students a dynamic blend of on stage exercises, improvisation games and ensemble activities. The technical theatre session focuses on aspects of design and the elements of theatre that often go unseen. No prior experience is requited to join the workshop, making it accessible to students of all skill levels. Registration for the workshop is now open, with a fee of $150 for one session or $250 for both. Tibbits members enjoy discounted rates, and scholarships are available for eligible students. The scholarship application deadline is May 29th. Workshop participants will also receive a commemorative t-shirt and a ticket to attend of the Tibbits Summer Theatre productions.
