(QUINCY) - Quincy School District voters are being presented with a $60 million bond proposal on Tuesday.

If it's approved the bond would be used to support improvements, additions and new facilities in the District. That includes safety and security enhancements along with ADA accessible and code compliance improvements at all the buildings. At Jennings Elementary School, projects would include parking lot and site upgrades, technology and classroom equipment upgrades and modernized learning environments.

There would be demolition of portions of the old Middle School Wing. For Quincy High School-Middle School there is a proposed two story classroom addition; remodeling the existing Middle School gym into a cafetorium; a new High School auxiliary gym, new locker room facilities and a new parking lot. A new bus garage would also be part of the projects for the district.

Quincy School District voters will be able to cast their ballots Tuesday from 7 AM until 8 PM.
