(CALVIN TOWNSHIP) - A search of a residence led to the arrest of a suspect on multiple charges.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says his office received a tip of possible stolen property at a residence in the 60,000 block of Eagle Point Road in Calvin Township.
Deputies along with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 6 PM Tuesday on the residence and located numerous items of stolen property along with meth and a large quantity of marijuana.
Officers arrested a 55 year old man at the dwelling. Charges are being sought for possession of drugs with intent to deliver; possession of meth; maintaining a drug house; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; possession of stolen property; operating a chop shop and altering or removing a vehicle identification number.
Also assisting at the scene were Cass County Animal Control and the SMCAS Ambulance Service.
