(INDIANAPOLIS) - Northeast Indiana's unemployment dropped from March to April.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the biggest drop in the area was Noble County's unemployment going down nine-tenths of a percent from 3.4% to 2.5%.
DeKalb County went down eight-tenths of percent from 3.1% to 2.3%. Elkhart County also decreased eight-tenths of percent, from 3.5% to 2.7%.
LaGrange County dropped from 3% to 2.3% percent, or seven-tenths of a percent. Steuben County also dropped seven-tenths of percent, going from 3.3% to 2.6%.
Northeast Indiana cities also had their unemployment go down from March to April. Fort Wayne went from 3.4% to 2.6% or eight-tenths of a percent.
Goshen dropped from 3.8% to 3%, which is eight-tenths of a percent. Elkhart had a decrease of seven-tenths of a percent, going from 3.8% to 3.1%.
