(SCHOOLCRAFT) - The Bronson softball team picked up two wins on Saturday and won a Division 3 District Championship. The Lady Vikings beat Centreville 8-0 in the semifinals and then Union City 18-0 in the Title game. Union City got there with a 10-3 win over Constantine. Ashlynn Harris got the game one pitching win, going 7 innings and giving up 2 hits with 9 strikeouts. Madison Shaw got the win in game two with 5 strikeouts and 1 hit given up in 4 innings of work. At the plate Lydia Wells had 4 RBI while Roni Bir had 4 RBI and Braelynn Giménez had 3 RBI. Bronson is now 33-5 and will face Buchanan at the Centreville Regional.
