(CENTREVILLE) - The host Centreville baseball team rallied, forced extra inning but lost to Jonesville 9-8 in their Division 3 Regional semifinal game.
Trailing Jonesville 7-2 in the top of the 7th, the Bulldogs rallied for six runs to take an 8-7 lead. The Comets then answered in the bottom half to tie the game at 8-8 and force extra innings. In the bottom of the 9th, Jonesville pushed across the winning run to get the win, and move into Saturday's Regional finals. Centreville finishes the season at 19-5-1.
