(QUINCY TOWNSHIP) - A two vehicle crash in Quincy Township injured the drivers.
The Branch County Sheriff's Office was called out to a two vehicle crash just after 3:30 PM Thursday at the intersection of South Ray-Quincy and Fisher Roads.
The investigation determined that a 22 year old Hillsdale man was driving west on Fishers Road when he failed to stop at the intersection of South Ray-Quincy Road. His vehicle entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by a 33 year old man from Bronson.
Both vehicles went off the road, rolled over and came to rest. A passing motorist stopped and used a fire extinguisher to put out a small engine compartment fire in one of the autos.
Both drivers were able to safely get out of their vehicles on their own. They were transported by Life Care Ambulance to Insight Hospital & Medical Center in Coldwater for treatment of minor, non life threatening injuries.
The Quincy Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
