Ebert A Candidate For Romeo Superintendent Position

(ROMEO) - Sturgis Schools Superintendent Dr. Art Ebert is one of six candidates vying to be superintendent for Romeo Schools.

In a posting on the Romeo Schools website, the Romeo Board of Education announced that they have six individuals they will conduct first round interviews with this week.

Today, the Board of Education will interview Amy Nelson, Superintendent of Capac Community Schools and Jordan Ackerman, Reese Public Schools Superintendent.

On Wednesday, the Board will interview Eric Kausch, Middle School Principal for Warren Consolidated Schools, and then Ebert.

On Thursday interviews will be done with Joseph McDonald Director of Secondary Education for the Anchor Bay School District, and with Kurt Sutton, Superintendent for Yale Public Schools.

Finalists will be selected during the Romeo Board of Education's special meeting on Friday, June 26.

Ebert started his duties as Sturgis Schools Superintendent in July 2018.
