(LAGRANGE) - The LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce has earned four statewide awards.
The Chamber was recognized with four Innovative Excellence Awards at the Indiana Chamber Executives Association Annual Conference, held June 10 through June 12 at the Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa in Michigan City.
The LaGrange County Chamber received statewide recognition for four initiatives that exemplify its commitment to economic growth and community prosperity: Tourism Week Campaign; Legislative Priority Agenda Process; Work-Based Learning Ecosystem Leadership; and Inclusive Employment Leadership.
LaGrange County Chamber President and CEO Sara Patrick says these awards represent the collective efforts of the members, partners, educators, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders. She says the Chamber's role is to bring people together around common goals, and these recognitions reflect what can be accomplished when a community works collaboratively to create opportunities for businesses and residents alike.
The awards also reinforce the Chamber's mission of Fostering Community Connections. Driving Business Success. Through its focus on workforce development, advocacy, tourism promotion, and community engagement, the organization continues to champion initiatives that contribute to generational prosperity throughout LaGrange County.
