(CENTREVILE) - There is no rodeo coming to the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds this summer.
Fair officials have posted on their Facebook page that advertisements for a rodeo hosted by the Centreville Ranch Rodeo is a scam. This is not a real organization, and the event is not happening.
The event, which is supposed to happen on July 25, is said to be a rodeo featuring working-ranch cowboys competing in events such as wild-cow milking, stray-trailer loading and open branding.
The non-existent event is being promoted by an organization called rodeoticket.com which is also not a real company.
If you see this advertisement, Fair officials warn the public to not click on any links, and do not purchase tickets.
