(COLDWATER) - A moped driver is in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision.
Michigan State Police from the Marshall Post were called to a crash Monday at 10:30 PM near the intersection of Newton Road and Marshall Road north of Coldwater.
Investigators say the moped collided with a minivan, driven by a 92-year-old man, who was not injured.
The moped driver, a 31-year-old man was treated at the scene by Life Care Ambulance personnel. He was then flown from the scene to Beacon Hospital Kalamazoo.
The accident is still under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call the Michigan State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
