Wolcottville Man Dies In One Vehicle Crash

(TOPEKA) - Speed is believed to be a factor in a one vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Wolcottville man.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says 18 year old Kaden Wiese of Wolcottville was driving east on County Road 700 South at 7 PM Thursday. According to investigators, Wiese lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and struck a fence.

Wiese was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.

A passenger in the vehicle, 18 year old Madison Sawyer of Howe was not inured.

Assisting at the scene were the LaGrange, Topeka and Kendallville Police Departments, the Topeka Fire Department, the LaGrange County Park Ranger and Parkview Noble Paramedics.
