(SPRINGPORT) - Down 28-0 Bronson fought back but fell to host Springport 35-14 in the season opener for both teams. Bronson scored the first of their two touchdowns late in the second quarter on a pass from Owen Losinski to Devin Stuart. The two would hook up again in the fourth quarter. Bronson outgained the host Spartans 429 to 290 on the night. Losinski had 238 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Stuart had 7 receptions for 107 yards and 2 scores. Reid Stukey had 28 carries for 178 yards. Bronson starts the season 0-1 overall and in the Big 8. Springport is 1-0.
