(COLON) - In a battle of county and conference rivals, No. 2 Mendon traveled to Colon and beat the No. 6 Magi 38-16 in an SCAA Red Division match up. The Hornets had 333 yards of total offense, all on the ground. Logan Stuart had 26 carries for 217 yards and 3 touchdowns. Owen Klinger had 8 carries for 54 yards and Zak Iobe had 12 carries for 52 yards and 2 TD's. Iobe led the defense with 9 tackles. Tristen Wood and Aron Wendt both had 8 tackles. For Colon, Jeremiah West was 12 of 22 for 170 yards and 2 TD's. Jonathan Wickey had 4 receptions for 60 yards and a TD while Carter Persons had 4 grabs for 50 yards and a score.
