(COLDWATER) - A public hearing will be held to discuss the proposed Branch County 2027 budget.
The Branch County Commission has agreed to hold the public hearing on October 27 at 4:35 PM in the Commissioner's Chambers of the Branch County Courthouse.
The hearing is being held in accordance with Public Act 2 of 1968. It's designed to get community input on the County's General Appropriations Act, including the 2027 full-time staffing plan for the General Fund, before the Commission approves the final adoption.
The community is encouraged to review the proposed budget, which will be available on October 13. The budget will be accessible during regular business hours at the County Administrator's Office and on the official Branch County website.
