(BATTLE CREEK) - It was a tale of two halves as the Mendon Hornets got their game going and beat B.C. St. Philip 70-69 in SCAA West Division boys basketball. Owen Gorham had 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the Hornets. Ryder Gorham had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals while Carter Huston had 11 points and 4 rebounds. Mendon improves to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the SCAA West Division.
