(CENTREVILLE) - The St. Joseph County Intermediate School District has a timeline to find their next Superintendent.
The ISD Board of Education have developed the timeline, with the goal to have a new Superintendent hired by mid-April and then start June 1. That would allow them to work with current Superintendent Dr. Teresa Belote before she retires.
The ISD says January 19 will be the deadline for applications to be accepted. A vetting process will then happen, which will include a site visit to the location of the finalists. That will be followed by second round interviews sometime in the next week.
Belote announced in early November that she will be retiring June 30, 2026. When she retires Belote will have been at the ISD for 9.5 years and for just over 32 years total in education.
