Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis is hosting their first annual golf outing, Friday, August 22nd at Cedar Lake Golf Club in Howe, Indiana. Entry fee is $65.00 per person or $260.00 for a four-person team. This will be an 18-hole scramble with lunch, appetizers and awards presented. Registration begins at 9 A.M. with a shotgun start at 10. There will also be a $10,000 hole-in-one contest! Sponsorships and donations are being accepted now. The 3rd annual Hamilton Car & Motorcycle Show will be on August 23rd during Hamilton's Summer Bash in downtown Hamilton, Indiana. Registration and parking begin at 9:30 a.m. Dash plaques will be given to the first 50 entrants. Top 5 People’s Choice prizes will be awarded at 3:00 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee.
