The Sturgis Civic Players Summer Theatre Camp 2025 "Rocky of the Rainforest" registration is underway! The Camp for ages 8 to 14 will take place July 7th - 11th at the Sturges Young Center for the Arts. Camp days will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Every camper should bring a water bottle with lid and wear appropriate clothing with closed toed shoes. NO flip flops! Cost for the camp is $100 for an individual child and $75 for each additional sibling in the same household. The fee includes the cost of camp t-shirt and snack. A $50 non-refundable deposit due per child at registration. Cash, check, or credit card accepted at the Sturges Young Center for the Arts Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. $2 to $4 fee for credit cards. You can make checks payable to Sturgis Civic Players. Deadline is June 15th. Hardship scholarships are available on a case by case basis. Camp size is limited to 30 youth. The show "Rocky of the Rainforest" will be preformed free and open to the public on Friday, July 11th at 6 p.m. All volunteers at the camp are 18 years of age or older and have background checks.
