Lilly Scholarship applications begin August 1


LAGRANGE – LaGrange County high school seniors can begin applying for the the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship on August 1st.

The application deadline is September 14th.

The scholarship provides full tuition and a $900 annual stipend for books during four years of undergraduate study leading to a baccalaureate degree at any accredited Indiana public or private college or university.

Applicants must submit SAT scores, high school transcript, two references and letters of recommendation, verified evidence of community service, and two essays. SAT scores must be on the high school transcript.

Five finalists will be selected October 12th and interviewed. Non-winning finalists receive a $1,000 Lambright Leadership Fund scholarship that is renewable for four years.
