(CENTREVILLE) – A LaGrange man has been sentenced in St. Joseph County for crimes committed against children.
Michigan Attorney General; Dana Nessel says 55 year old David Miller, formally of Coldwater, was sentenced in St. Joseph County Circuit Court to 18 to 50 years after pleading guilty to two counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in February.
Miller was also sentenced to two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct in Branch County after pleading no contest to the charges.
It’s alleged that Miller sexually assaulted the victims numerous times in Branch and St. Joseph Counties. The initial investigation was started by the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office in March 2023. During the investigation, authorities obtained information suggesting sexual assaults may have occurred in the State of Michigan, and Michigan State Police launched a separate investigation into allegations that ultimately led to charges and convictions in St. Joseph and Branch Counties.
Miller is still facing charges in LaGrange County.
