One Person Receives Minor Injuries In Three Vehicle Accident

(DEKALB COUNTY) – One person was injured in a three vehicle accident.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, 54 year old Thomas Lusk of Fremont was driving south on I-69 at the 328 mile marker at 1:15 PM Friday. He told deputies that he looked to his right, and lost control of his car, hitting constructions barrels and a concrete barrier, along with two other vehicles.

Lusk was taken by EMS to Parkview Regional Medical Center to be treated for cuts to the head and arm. His vehicle is considered a total loss.

One of the vehicles was driven by 40 year old Kerry Fordanish of Auburn. She was not injured, and neither was 7 year old Matthew Fordanish, who was in the back seat.

The driver of the third vehicle was not injured. Their name was not released.

The Indiana State Police assisted at the scene.
